NICHOLAS QUAN
Nick has spent the last decade immersed in the world of fencing - competing, coaching, refereeing, and mentoring the next generation of athletes. (Yes, he really does it all!) Whether he's on the strip or behind the scenes, Nick brings passion, energy, and a deep belief in the power of sport to transform lives.
Today, you’ll find Nick coaching at Scarsdale Fencing Center and reffing at tournaments across the country, from grassroots events to national stages. He’s especially passionate about creating more access and equity in fencing - opening doors for young athletes who might not otherwise get the chance to fall in love with the sport the way he did.
Outside of fencing, Nick works as an analyst in the Corporate Audit division at Bank of America. And when he’s not traveling for tournaments or working with students, he’s probably in the kitchen, trying out a new recipe or cooking something way too ambitious for a weeknight.
Joining the DoGood Board was a no-brainer for Nick: it’s the perfect intersection of his love for fencing and his commitment to creating opportunities for others. He’s excited to help shape the future of a sport - and a mission - that continues to change lives.
