ETHAN KONG

Junior Coordinator for Development

If you ever came across the West Side Montessori School website, there’s a good chance you saw Ethan Kong as a focused three-year-old deeply engaged in his work. While he’s grown a lot since then, that same focus and commitment still shows up in everything he does.

Ethan trains and competes at Scarsdale Fencing Center under coaches Archil Lortkipanidze and Maksim Lohotska. With two and a half years of fencing experience, he’s drawn to the sport’s speed, strategy, and constant problem-solving. He brings energy, enthusiasm, and a strong team-first mindset to every practice.

Outside of fencing and preparing for high school, Ethan enjoys helping out in any way he can - whether through volunteering or everyday responsibilities at home. He believes giving back is an important part of life and that gratitude and kindness are essential to building stronger communities.

At DoGood, Ethan contributes to the Development team, supporting fundraising efforts through grants and donations. He is passionate about the idea that cooperation and generosity can create a better world, which is why he’s excited to be part of DoGood’s mission.
