Help Take Care of Cats
4210 Dane Avenue
Cincinnati Animal CARE (CAC) began serving Hamilton County in August 2020, taking responsibility for the county’s animal services with a commitment to humane, no-kill sheltering. As Hamilton County’s only stray-intake municipal animal shelter, CAC provides individualized care, lifesaving solutions, and temporary shelter for animals in need. Its mission is to reunite lost pets, reduce the stray population, and connect homeless animals with safe, compatible homes through adoption and rescue. CAC also serves as a community resource by providing education and support for responsible pet care, while volunteers help improve animals’ quality of life through activities such as walking dogs, caring for cats, enrichment, and shelter support.Help CAC by cleaning cat kennels, hand out breakfast to cats, and socialize with cats! If you're a cat person, this is for you!
